Consultation
Dr Ng talks through your symptoms, history and goals, examines you and reviews your tests.
Tests if needed
Only tests that will change a decision, such as a CT coronary angiogram or an angiogram.
Your plan
Medication, a procedure or surgery, decided with you and explained in plain language.
Follow-up
A review after any test or procedure. Your GP is kept informed by letter at each stage.

- A list of your current medications and doses
- Recent test results, scan reports or angiogram discs
- A note of your symptoms and when they happen
- Your Medicare card and any private health insurance details
- A family member or friend, if you would like support

Telehealth
Video consultations for people anywhere in Western Australia, when a physical examination isn't needed first. Telehealth suits reviewing test results, follow-up after a procedure, and an initial review for people in regional areas. eCardiology checks each referral to confirm telehealth is suitable.
If you need a procedure
Procedures are performed at Bethesda Mount Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital or St John of God Murdoch Hospital. Before any procedure, the reasons, the benefits and the risks are explained, along with the alternatives, including not having the procedure. You will be told which hospital, when to arrive, and what to do with your medications beforehand.
After a coronary angiogram or angioplasty, most patients go home the same day or the next day. Recovery advice and your follow-up appointment are arranged before you leave.
